“Scott Miller, born in Minnesota, has been a composer and cellist since the 1970s. He studied under Paul Fetler and Dominick Argento at the University of Minnesota, and has had works performed in several states in the USA, as well as Greece. His music includes works for piano, chamber groups, full orchestra, instrumental solos with orchestra, chamber orchestra, and a few choral works. In 2019, Mr. Miller won the yearly award from the Minnesota Sinfonia’s New Works by Minnesota Composers Project, supported in part by the McKnight Foundation. After living in Oregon for nearly a decade, Scott returned to Minnesota in 2018 and lives in Sibley County.”
